My kid and I went to Mill Ruins Park in Minneapolis. It was a Thursday. The weather was perfect. The birds were singing. The trees and bushes were rustling their leaves in the whispering wind. My kid brought all these little toy animals and we were setting them up around the park and pretending to be zookeepers tending to the animals at the zoo.

I took some pictures. I made some sketches. And when we got home (actually several months later, because sometimes that's how it goes) I painted this memory of that day. So I would never forget. And now I'm sharing it with you.

Can you believe no-one has bought this yet? I mean who knows if I'll ever make a better painting in my life?!? I'd totally buy it if I could. But I can't. I already own it. So maybe you should buy it? But if you do, promise me you'll give it a good home, okay?

  • Shipping

Unframed original art is shipped for FREE to the contiguous United States via UPS. Large originals are hand delivered by the artist within 20 miles of the Twin Cities. For international shipping rates or alternative shipping options, contact me.

  • Returns

Due to the nature of original artwork, I can not accept returns on original art. I really hope you love the art before you buy it. I've never met a painting that looked better online than it did in real life, so that would be super surprising! But life is weird sometimes and if you are truly unhappy for some reason, let me know, and we can work together to find a mutually beneficial solution.

A few things to note

All my paintings are painted on professional grade canvas using the highest quality materials. Though my original art looks great in a frame, I finish the edges in a way that makes framing entirely optional. You do you, okay? And every canvas comes wired and ready-to-hang so you can pop it on the wall as soon as you receive it.

Technology is far from perfect:

I do my best to represent colors accurately, but colors in real life may vary slightly from what you see on screen.

Want a frame for your painting?

I work with a wonderful framing partner in the Twin Cities. Hop in my inbox and I'll whip up a framing quote for you.

Want to see what my painting will look like on your wall?

Contact me to send me a photograph of your living room, dining room, bedroom, office, playroom (you get the idea) and I'll create a mockup for you. Just make sure the photo is well-lit and straight on (no weird angles or spooky dark rooms, okay?).

Curious about payment plans?

I personally love a payment plan. I think it's a great way to pay off an investment in manageable bites. I am happy to work with collectors to find a payment plan for original artwork that works right for you. Pay monthly, weekly, biweekly, whatever suits your fancy! I do not charge any extra for payment plans, but I will hold onto the art until the final payment is made. Want to learn more? Send me a note.
